Paint Your Way to Better Contact
The Problem
Hitting your putts on the bottom of your putter rather than in the center, resulting in a lack of distance control (especially on long or uphill putts).
The Cause
In a putting stroke if the wrists break, the putter will ascend too rapidly through impact. This rapid upward motion will create poor contact usually off the sole of the club creating inconsistent transfer of power through the ball.
The Solution
The sensation of painting the ground in one smooth stroke without splattering paint will flatten the lead wrist and allow the putter to finish lower through impact. This will create a more consistent strike resulting in better distance control.
